چکیده
The rapidly growing global data usage has demanded more efficient ways to utilize the scarce electromagnetic spectrum resource. Recent research focused on development of multiplexing techniques in millimeter-wave band (1–10 mm, or 30–300 GHz) due promise large available bandwidth for future wireless networks. Frequency-division is still one most commonly-used maximize transmission capacity a network. Based frequency-selective tunnelling effect low-loss epsilon-near-zero metamaterial waveguide, we numerically and experimentally demonstrate five-channel frequency-division demultiplexing range. We show that this device architecture offers great flexibility manipulate filter Q-factors spectra different channels, by changing waveguide topology adding standard between two channels. This strategy may pave way efficiently allocating communication

Eutectic epsilon-near-zero metamaterial terahertz waveguides.
We present and analyze the unique phenomena of enhanced THz transmission through a subwavelength LiF dielectric rod lattice embedded in an epsilon-near-zero KCl host. Our experimental results in combination with theoretical calculations show that subwavelength waveguiding of terahertz radiation is achieved within an alkali-halide eutectic metamaterial as result of the coupling of Mie-resonance ...

Utilizing a microwave setup, we experimentally verify our recently developed theory of energy squeezing and tunneling [Phys. Rev. Lett. 97, 157403 (2006)10.1103/PhysRevLett.97.157403] through an ultranarrow waveguide channel that mimics zero-permittivity properties. Exploiting the infinite phase velocity supported by a waveguide transition section at cutoff, we test our theory of tunneling in t...
متن کاملChannel Estimation for Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing
The Channel estimation is one of the fundamental issues of OFDM system design. Techniques that are used for channel estimation of OFDM system are least-square (LS) and minimum-mean-square-error (MMSE) techniques. The LS Estimator algorithm is very simple, but it may be subject to noise enhancement, so the performance is worse. The MMSE Estimator gives better performance than LS and MSE is minim...
متن کاملModeling of Tunneling Effects in Epsilon-Near-Zero Waveguide
In this paper we present a simple method for efficient modeling of the tunneling effect in a non-homogeneous epsilon-near-zero (ENZ) waveguide, using an equivalent circuit approach. ENZ waveguide consists of rectangular waveguides filled with two-layered dielectric, E-step, and a narrow channel. It was shown that the E-step in a non-homogenous structure can be modeled rather simply using a shun...
